I started off just purchasing parts at auctions and paying through PAYPAL. I don't think it cost anything. Then I ran a couple of mt own auctions as a seller and again it appeared as it cost nothing. Whats in it for them?? This was a year ago.
Now I guess EBAY owns PAYPAL and recently someone paid me a total of about 43$ and it said fee 1.45$, was this his fee as a buyer or mine as a seller??
And last I got a payment which came to me as "you've received an instant payment" Then I looked at MY EBAY and it said PAYPAL payment pending in 3 days. Whats the story there??

Not trying to be lazy, I just know some of you could explain this a bit easier. Thank you!!!!

If my menory is still OK (some people doubt it) the seller has to pay a fee.
I like the PAYPAL way because itīs really fast.

There is no charge to pay by Paypal, however there has always been a charge to receive a paypal payment.

Finally found the dam link but here's the kicker, It asked me to upgrade to a buisness account and I said no - I just want this stuff to be easy. So it says I denied the money and sent it back  I'm truly going insane today, now I have to try and explain this to the buyer and get my $ back. This PAYPAL crap is not user friendly - maybe after your all set up but I thought I was :?

Thank god I got another payment from the buyer. Verified, unverified, held for 3 days, buisness account, premier, accept, deny, new user agreement, old user agreement - way too much horsesh1t for me to deal with.
The entire ordeal sucked but it seems like I'm all set up now - until it changes again

You only get the "Accept or Deny" question when a buyer attempts to pay with a credit card. The clincher is if you accept, you automatically upgrade your account to a business account, and you are charged a percentage fee when you accept credit cards.
