Does anyone have a problem with there BLASTER"S fuel milleage. This thing is eating a HUGE hole in my pocket for gas. I can't ride but about a half a day on a full tank. I'm driving pretty hard though. There's not any gas leaking from the carb it is jetted a little rich though but hell I would'nt think that It would use that much gas.

yeah, I usually figure about 6 gallons for a full days HARD riding on my 250r. And that's covering a lot of ground.

You know it would'nt be quite as bad if I did'nt have to pay for more then just gas. It takes around $6.00 for a full tank of gas and around $2.00 a tank for the 2-cycle oil and 2 refills on a normal day. F*** around $16.00 for a day's worth of riding. Holy s***!
16 is cheap!!
5 gallons of 93 at $3+
64 oz castor 927 makes 15 gallons at $28
so roughly about $23-26 per 5 gallon fill up
a good weekend I will use 10 gallons so thats about $50 to ride a weekend with 2 machines.

My Polaris Explorer 4x4 goes through more gas than any of the wheelers we have around the house,I swear I only put 3 to 4 tanks of gas in the KLT I sold in almost a year and rode it almost every day????
well the 93 fluctuates so much here IM just going with 3 as a general amount right now its only around 2.55 but next week it may be 4 when some Iraqi farts wrong.
wow 10 gal for a weekend, My old Bike would go though that in a few hours of hard riding.....The Yamies Like the Gas!!!

ya, youd think these little machines would get better milage than a car, but we figured milage out for my friends sportsman 500ho (in 4x4).....gets about 8-10mpg. I had a friend with a grizzly 660 and hed go through a tank in a few hours of mudding. My raptor gets much better though, i can ride 3-4 hours on 1/2 tank. Personaly i think its due to the auto trani.

CVT transmissions suck down the fuel.
