Well,it got up to 39 today,figured I would go for a little ride(hadnt road in over a week)got the R out and was riding around the farm for a bit and thought I would go down to the lake a couple of miles down the road and slide around ect..
Here in Minnesota,your not allowed to ride on the roads,your suspossed to ride in the ditch(It's the law,it's in the DNR pamplet)!!!
I rode to the lake ect..,nice ride!
The R runs like a bat out of hell by the way :D
On the way back I came the same way(only one open ditch)down the road and came home,put the R in the garage ect.. and was going into the house and a guy in a truck pulls in the drive??:confused:
Seems the guy thinks he own's the ditches and I was on his property?????
I cant belive this crap,I wasnt going fast,wasnt jumping ect..just going down the trails that have been there for eons???
He followed my tracks,muffler or whatever and came to my house for no reason other than to give me S**T!!!
I was pissed,I told him I would be happy to get the 2007 DNR book and show him and then he started acting better but what the hell??
I live in the middle of nowhere,whats the world coming too????:wondering

Tell him to phuck off. You're obiding by the law. If he still has a problem,give him is own copy of the '07 DNR manual and tell him to read it BEFORE he starts running his mouth off next time.

I wanted to so bad but like I said I live out in the country and didnt want to piss off the people that live on the main road?
There's not that many of us so thats why I cant understand someone getting mad?
I dont tear around much,my pipe is stock so there should be no complant's?
If I hear someone on an ATV I try to come out and say HI as they go by!!!!!!!!

lol yea. ive had the same problem out at my buddies place. we were riding a atv trail and this guy came ranting and carrying on about how we are on his land. ha ha ha thats funny because we know the real owners and got permission to ride there. we even had a print out of our names and atvs . then he was bitching because we had a jeep there too. well that was on the print out as well. you should have seen his face when he saw the print out signed by the owner and all of us. stupid butt wipes like that should be ran over by a 18 wheeler. if it was his land ok i would understand.

you know what you could do. put spike strips down at the end of your drive. then next time it would cost him for his bitching about nothing.

A friend of mine was crossing a small area of private land here in nevada. he was in his pickup going hunting and crossing this approx..200 yard area saved him a 15 mile drive. so he drives over a small trail, slowly towards the hill he was headed to. this old man pulls up in the field, and tells him he has to go back as he was on his land.. politely my friend says look, i'm just going right over there, can you make an exception this once? the old man says "if i make an exception for you, gotta do it for every one...cant do it.so my buddy, turns around and starts to drive back, when the old man says hey... i'm stuck, can you give me a little pull.. my friend says nope, if I pull you out, i gotta pull everybody out! and smiles and drives off!

looks like you better stay were you are. we moved here to utica becase there are 250 people. Graval roads. no laws etc, all went well when we were riding out little 70 around the block when we were 5..6...7...8 then we sort of grw to big for it. 4 or 5 years pass our nabors move here. and when i turned 14 my dad bought me a mint 250sx. i mean it was awesome no cracks in the orignal finder. all the tools were there had the orginal honda keys. the skid plate had minamal scratchs. and i thought wow. no longer was i 8 i was 14 so i went out hoped ont the old 250 aout 4 or 5 pm. and they call the cops now every time i go to ride they call the cops. so i guess now it doesnt matter i have a 2005 450R Bored, piped, jetted, and its Fast. im now 16 and its ligal for me to ride. i cut donuts in front of there house ALL the time and just take a rake with me. all i have to say is prove it. my point is no matter were you are at the old people (70+) ALWAYS

If you are sure your within the law, Just keep doing what want. Bring the manual with you next time. If he hassles you again, show him the DNR manual and ask where the bounds of his property are... If that doesn't work tell him he's a prick...

Hey Russel, be glad you can at least ride the ditches where you live, I live in Baltimore,Md. & I know a couple small local spots I can ride to, but for the most part, I'm trailering up & driving at least 25+ miles. Count your blessings, brother............:D

I guess some people never heard of easements. Whats that guy do when water runs through his property? Go down to where it came from and tell them they have to dam it up? If you don't tear up the land and property, why is it everyone is so uptight about someone physicly standing on 'my land'? I 'own' a whole lot of desert and believe it or not, people go to the back part of the lot where there is no road anymore and just sit there and drink. I find a lot of cans there, thats how I know. All they did was run over a thorny bush and some cactus and leave plenty of alunumum for me. As far as I can see, they paid for it when their truck got flat and with all the cans I collected. Win-win situation. There's nothing of value out there anyways. Now, if only they left something of value like a watch or a dropped wallet or even a 6 pack in the bush. That would be great!

Yeah Im still comeing to Florida but it looks like I will have to fly,my better half is having some health problems and she dosnt drive and is in a wheelchair so I can only be gone for about a week?
Im scared to leave her(her son is here but works full time)and it takes me about 3 days each way to get to my Mom's.
Sucks when the two most important women in your life dont get along and fight over you lol,otherwise she would go with me but Mom wont pay for two tickets!!!!!
They still havnt been to court over the domestic battery charge yet??
Floridas court system is so damn slow,he hasnt even been arrested yet??
