I lived there for nine years(born there), never really cared about trikes back then, but did ride some dirt bikes on my cousins property. you used to be able to ride on a couple public beaches, but I think they stopped that now. To tell you the truth I don't think I ever saw a trike over there. Anyway, enjoy your stay, and try to get some surfing in.:D

trikes are rare here, but places to ride, especially dirt bikes arent!!!! and yes you can ride on the beaches around keana point both sides

I'm not quite sure where that is as I lived in kailua kona on the big Island the whole time I was there. as for quads and dirt bikes, Ive seen people riding them on the roads and not even being bothered by cops, 2 strokes too! I miss it sometimes, might have to take a trip over there this summer. I don't think I could move back because it just keeps getting more and more expensive to live there. few nice places to ride though, mostly on the beaches. some tourists seem to get pissed of but that never bothered me:D
