200x axle length

how long is a stock 84 200x's rear axle? where do i measure from? the person i bought if from swears that its an extended one, but im skeptical.

oh, i meant its already on the bike, it came that way when i bought it. i talked to him, and he was like " yeah, i bet you like that extended axle i put on it" so im just finding out its supposedly extended. i think he may have bought one off the internet and just thinks it was an extended. thats why i wanted to know the measurements.

well depending on wheel offset normally with a plus 4 axle it puts you right around 50 inches wide outside of tire to outside of tire

ok, thanks. what width of tire are you talking about? mine are 11 inches wide. or does that matter?

He means the offset of your rim. The closer the inner hub is to the inside of you wheel, means it will be wider. Normal offset i think is 4 or 5'' on a 200x?

why not just take the rims off and measure from axle end to axle end and post the width?
