I had a big day today. As many of you know I am a Mac Tools distributor. We'll I held my first Macstravaganza event. We (mac) just recently picked up a fairly new race team that we sponsor. Lucas Motorsports. They race the Baja circuit. Included in the sponsorship is an event Mac calls the Macsravaganza. This event is very cool. We bring in just about 50 percent of our tools and tool boxes and set it all up for display and purchase with big discounts. This event was held at their receshop and they even had their trophy truck there. These trophy trucks are the top of the line race trucks. Cost on them is around half a million. I snapped a few pics of the event so you can see a little of what it is all about.

If any of you are mechanics and have a Mac distributor I recommend you encourage him to have one of these events in your area. They can save you big bucks on your tool purchases. Plus there is always alot of free giveaways. Including a $5500.oo tool box and a smaller tool box.

Check out the pics. The first ones are of the event and the last is the miss's taking a ride in the truck.

I love tool shows, then throw in a trophy truck and you make it an awesome event. I don't imagine we have enough population around here to have a show like that.

I have to tell you going for a ride in that truck was AWESOME!!!!

When he first started up that truck I could feel the rumble in my stomach and chest. Let the adrenaline flow boys!!!! LOL That was soooo cool. So we back out and he straitened it up. Then he stomped on the gas!!!! OMG! What a rush. I'm told we pulled a wheelie! We only took a short ride around the parking lot but he got into it on 3 different occasions and each time was total excitement for me. He got on it coming around a corner and Rick says it looked like you guys were gonna flip over. Sure never felt like it. The suspension in that thing is like riding on air!!!

Then we took it back to the truck and I got to stay on board while he loaded it. They load this truck way up there in that semi. Imagine if you can, once it is loaded the only way in and out of the trailer is to walk under the baja truck. Man those ramps were steep! That truck just walked right up 'em with no problem. SWEET!

Short as the ride may have been I will NEVER forget it and how much fun I had that day!:w00t: :w00t: :w00t:
