Hi guys, this is my first post, I purchased an 02 KX 125 with a blown motor for my son, we have just fitted a 200cc Chinese 4stroke to it, the guy who we bought the KX from gave us an ATC 110 1979 in large bits. I am now trying to make it usable, not a trailer queen, The motor ran ok after I put the motor in and cleaned the carb. He said it leaked a lot of oil but I found the breather hose was crimped which I think may cause the crankcase to pressurize, I not sure whether I should dissemble the drive side and look at the seals? the motor is out at the moment while I fix the broken bits and pieces on the bike, this had had a lot of abuse. The rear sprocket is fairly worn and the carrier is worn as well. Can I bolt a sprocket onto the axel without the cushion drive or do I need the cushion. I live in Australia and it took a week to get a spark plug from our biggest Honda dealer so I am not very hopeful for parts availability, I can do my own machine work however so making adaptors is no a problem.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks
Brendan

Yes, you can get rear sprockets that have no cushion drive but of course it is a little harder on the drivetrain. If the 110 has been that abused, make sure to check the rear axle bearing and the rear brake shoes so they are working. I'm sure if you wanted to pay the shipping, someone on the boards here could get parts for you. Some people on the boards here probably even have good used parts for you. Welcome to the boards, good luck with your 110 and post some pictures.
