I would like to say thanks to all of you and start by introducing myself. I have been looking at this site for a few weeks now and recently bought a 1983 Honda 200E. Its in very rough shape and does not run. I ordered a Clymer Service Manual off of ebay and hope to get thing running soon.
I will continue to read and as soon as I get started working on it I will post some pictures and ask lots of questions. Thanks
Steve

Welome to 3 wheeler world. You could try a few things first before you get a manual. Try for spark, if it has it then look at the carb, if it has been sitting for a while, maybe over a year you might just have to clean carb and jets, put new gas in tank after getting rid of the old stuff. Whats the story on it ? Did it die on the previous owner or it hasn't started since he parked it three years ago ?

The previous owner's son went to college out of state three years ago and left it in his back yard. Has not ran it since. A friend of the son came over and took the brake lever and cable off of it, maybe more? I cant even check for spark because their is no wire running to the spark plug. Thats why I order the book. Hopefull it will have part # and pictures so I know what to order and where it goes. It also needs a battery and new seat. I was planning on changing the oil and getting a rebuild kit for the carb before I try to start it. I hope it wont take much more to atleast get it running for one summer before I can dig into it and do a major rebuild over the winter.
