Well I found a trike deal that I couldnt pass up. This is a one owner with all the original plastic, stickers, and even the owners manual was still in the glove box. Has original Kawasaki front and rear racks as well as a Kawasaki gun rack. The plastic isnt in perfect shape, little bit of sunfading and the usual scratches but no cracks. The rear rack is bent a little on one side but its not going to be a garage queen anyway. I just couldnt let the deal pass me by. I like the trike but I have to get the locking plate so that I can lock the differential in, the one wheel pulling just isnt going to cut it. I got stuck going up a hill today. Anyone know where to get one? Pics to follow tomorrow. :Bounce

I would say post that plate in the classified and see if one pops up.... from what i've ever heard, KLT items are pretty hard to find..... and check eBay...

Check your local dealer or try looking on bike bandit .com. I had a klt110 and was surprised how many parts were still available.

I had a hard time finding one for my klt200,I saw some of the pieces on Ebay but mine needed a gear case so I ended up finally finding the whole gear case for $100.00 at a local junk yard(payed more for it than the whole trike)!!!

I think it is just there to keep the allen screw from backing out so I am thinking of just using some of that super strength LocTite, that should hold. I like the little trike though, it is the first hadtail that I have had and it is quite the adventure in the rough stuff. It really helps if the air in the tires is only the required 2-3 psi and not the 10 psi that the previous owner put in. After I get the rear diff locked in I need to build me a little trailor to pull behind it, its got plenty of low end grunt and is low geared enough for yard work.
