Campout at the river? anyone?

Weather is startin to get nice, the river is finally back down off the sandbar and its looking like some good riding weather is upon us. The last weekend of this month I will be busy and cannot plan anything but I am open for say the First weekend in april? anyone interested? I'd probably take you up on that Will, sounds like fun and I can showoff my Tecate rebuild.

Anything I need to know about camping there, anything funny, or just straight forward.

My girls have birthdays coming up and I don't remember the dates of the parties, but I'm in pending birthday party check.

naw nothing special to camp out. Just pay the fee's for regualr riding the days that you are going to be there and pick your spot. I need to get some stuff ordered for my Tecate if I am going to carry it out there myself.

went out to the river yesterday and there are big changes to the sandbar this year. when we get there we need to be sure to make a run or 2 down the bar nice and easy so you can famlierize yourself with the new terrain. we had 6 wrecks happen out there yesterday!

Naw the people werent paying attention to the changes, washouts, and a few deep holes were the river came up. The sand bar is still plenty big and there is alot of fun to be had. While my Tecate isnt really ready to ride 100% I think that its going to be able to make the trip. I can take it for a few trips and it shouldnt give me any problems.
