Twist Throttle Kit

Hey guy's........first off I'd like to say this site is awesome and very informative.
I picked up an 82 -110 for $100.00 thats in pretty good shape and runs. The thumb lever is killing me an I want to convert to a twist type. Now i found one on ebay but it says its for a 79'. Will this work on my 82? If not, can someone recomend me a good brand that will work.

Shouldnt have a problem with the 79 kit, but Im not sure. Someone here will chime in soon.

Will do... Thanks for replying. I've had it for about 2 years now and it ran great but it sat for a year and now smokes like a freight train. I just overhauled the carb which made it run 100x better but still smokes. I'll try to adjust the valve and if that dont work I'll just rebuild the top end.

Heres a pic of my 110. It need a headlight, I keep looking on the bay for one but no luck yet. It got smashed during my move to Colorado.:cry:
