oil temp question

ok guys how hot does 10w 40 oil get on average in a 200? i ask because i have hose that is rated for 140 f . will it handle it or not?

i would think that youll be fine, i doubt (not for sure) that it gets that hot.

It would be my bet that the oil gets hotter than 140, especially with spirited riding. Outside temps won't matter, but do several hard throttle runs and the oil will hit 200.

I couldnt imagine your oil staying under 140F. I say you should probably look for another set of hoses at AutoZone or PepBoys or something, theyll have what you need for sure... Heck its amazing how many parts will work on our trikes from the auto parts store...:lol: :lol:
