2001 Cr 500

hey, I just got a cr 500 and was wondering if there is a pipe other than FMF or Pro Curcit that I can get for this bike. I already got the radvalve and am going to put a 39mm carb on it. Im just looking for a Differnt pipe. Thanks,

I think DG makes one, along with a few other European companies that I dont know the name of, sorry. On my 85 I've tried the stock, DG, FMF, and Pro circuit. The stock had the best midrange, the FMF felt like nothing but a low end trials pipe, and the DG and pro-circuit are both upper RPM pipes.

Yeah, My dad found a euro site that has some pretty good pipes for a reasonable price. But after taking it to the coast I have decided that all I want to do is the K&N filter, Rad Valve, and the 39mm carb.

If you are not in a rush.....Euro pipes can be had for fairly cheap....just watch egay and the like. DG pipes are cheap and shoule be a good fit, if you want something quick...

I was at the coast on saturday at Winchester Bay. That thing ripped, I think I did good for my first time on a dirtbike in the sand. I only wrecked once at the top of a dune and that was it. Becides that I made all the other dunes with ease. I think that Im going next weeked also. So if anyone is interested then let me know.

I'm no help with the pipe.....but damn, I like your bike. My dune two-wheeler is currently a 95' CR250 and I really like it but I've always got one eye open for a good deal on a CR500. And a 2001: nice, man...nice.

Yeah, I was suprised when I found it. It was on craigslist and just in the right price range. It is a beast on the dunes and I love it.
