i been running for a while a big old PJ ,off a who knows what year cr500

i put my PWK 38mm airstriker on today.

i instaled a reed spacer and a V force reed cage, got the carb onto my stock intake boot and air filter boot. no real trouble you just need to boil them for a half a minute or so and slide it over a bottle. i used red wine vinigar. then be a man about it when you put them on.

i use a motionpro twist throttle. the cable that fit the PJ don't fit the PWK.

the little brass adjuster fitting on the Cap of the carb is for a smaller diameter cable end on the new airstriker.

do any of you know where i can buy this cable?

my twister is good. i just need a cable.

The cable on the old PJ was big like 1/4"

I dont remember what the old 36 was like. i have had my share of carbs, cables ,and throttles on this motor ,And I can't remember having this problem before.I have had it allmost 10 years now.,so who knows.

I just bought one for a pwk but mine was for a thumb and I know it takes a different part number for the twist. If you call 402-614-2508 you can get the right one or they can give you the part number.
