I understand some people dont want to ship to Canada, but if I ever need anything its always against me. This ebay store has a complete 81 250r they are parting out. Plastics are all there along with seat pan and seat. So guys seeing I cant get the rears or seat pan, etc check out this auction and his others for 81-82 parts.

he is a member here on the 3WW forums. Maybe you can talk him into shipping the parts you need ( if you win them ).

Thxs man. I hate living in Canada for buying selling stuff. You have to pay more shipping, more funds cause our money isnt worth nothing.

long story short..
we live 8 miles from the post office.
we ship about 300 boxes a week.
UPS comes straight to our door, fast and convenient.
sending someone to the post office, to stand in line for hours filling out customs paperwork, etc etc, is a waste of time and resource.
plus, we will not lie to the government about customs items and putting "gift" on every package we send out the door.
they have a tendancy to catch on, know what i mean?
sorry man, but its the bosses house rules, and there is nothing i can do about it.
wish i could help

You can also ship from your location with USPS, print your label and they pick up packages for free. All you need for customs orders is their phone number then you can print customs forms right from your computer. USPS has upgraded their site so it is much easyer but I understand the long lines and waiting if you go to the usps office. If I have to go I drive an extra 10 miles or so to a small town where there is no waiting.
I don't have easy access to UPS or FED EX so online usps is my best resource. It all boils down to whats easyest for the seller.

I personally dont like shipping to Canada because I end up taking it in the rear on shipping. Unless you bring the box to the post office and get a quote first, prior to shipping, you will loose money. USPS's postage calculator is close, but not right. I have lost as much as $10 on shipping. Yeah if you dont have a job, and have all the free time in the world, and dont mind going back and forth, and waiting a week or two for payment, you can pull it off. But I dont have that much time.

At least you tried, some people just complain without trying.
Another option is this: You might try getting another member in the US to drop ship the stuff to you. What do I mean? You buy, have it shipped to them, then when the item arrives to the US User they ship it to you. It's worth a shot if you can't find the stuff anywhere else..

UPS will come to your house daily also like the postal service does but costs depending on how much your shipping..
i could do the drop shipping thing like Howdy said. the custom paper takes only 2 minutes to fill out.
i sell toyota truck parts on ebay and ship to canada all the time. i even have a guy from Spain that buys stuff.

I used to ship to Canada until I had a buyer not pay the duty on an engine and FedEx billed me the $48.00 which included Canada sales tax. I am not a Canadian, why should I have to pay the sales tax? Oh well, just no more shipping to Canada.

Thxs for input on drop shipments for the parts but I like to do my business without a middle man usually. It just makes work for the middle man, and I dont like to trouble anyone. I have never bought off ebay directly. I have always contacted them and bought outside the auction so if these problems came up we could phone each other and resolve it. Yes Canada suxs for shipping.
And I noticed in another forum that time that first off MOHAWK thought I was bashing him.... I asked, I understood. Notice I never bashed you directly.... Ebay sellers make me mad, plural not single, I have ran into this shipping problem many times. Then I posted up to let everyone else know that this stuff was there on ebay if they were interested. Thxs. Sorry if you felt attacked, but I dont do things that way.

naw dude, that post i made had nothing to do with you actually. there was another guy on these forums, that left me a post in the feedback section, and bashed me for not shipping to canada. the guy was a dick. and howdy removed it, because it had nothing to do with any transactions, or anything else in general except for his attitude towards people not shipping to canada.
if you read my first reply, it was straight forward and polite.
the other guy that bashed me, however, can kiss my azz, square in the middle.
have a great week dude :)
