View Full Version : The #1 non Armchair rebuild of the year. 86R
Well, It was a two hour, 250 dollar overhaul!!! And the bike looks as good as all the archair rebuilds. I put new plastic and stickers on, and bam! she looks like new. If you have ridden with me, then you know I ride my bike, and I do ride pretty hard. This bike will fit in with all the 1500 dollar restro and customs. It was a fun built, took alot of percision:crazy: . Im going to ride it, beat it, then wash it. And bam she still looking as good as all the armchair rebuilds:naughty: Enjoy

Aren't they all built to ride? Looks like a nice machine for under 1500.00, doing a little cosmetic and small things like bearings is the best way to go. Plus is saves a ton of money...
Like the custom 295 R Seat cover.:w00t:
Are you pushing that much Displacement?

Here is my armchair rebuild for the year. It is comfortable, but it looks like an old lady chair. My wife got it from her mother......I can't ditch it, so I will rebuild it. I'm thinking stock Honda colors this time along with some simple bolt on mods.

Well done Max! Cant wait to see it up close, and even better see you ride that beast to its potential!
Shes pushing 310cc. Its a 295 on its last bore. The seat is a little deceiving....i guess;)
As for armchair builds/builders. Im sure you can figure it out!!
Raffa, the jetski is a 550. The yamis are sweet, but theres alot more availability of kawasaki parts.
Thanks for the comments my fellow trike buddies:beer
To see this bike do some of the craziest trike ridin/stuntin, come to Max and 3legs wild safari and TF07:naughty:

Looks good Max. I had a new skirt all arranged for mine, but Big B Dog needed it worse than I did, so I'm still sportin the old faded stuff. Oh well, I need the money more for a fork and shock rebuild...lol.
