bigger carb needed?

will my stock carb with some jetting be good with a 310 kit? by the way its on a 1986 250r. also how do they bore carb out to be bigger?

It would probably work but I would get a bigger carb as soon as possible. I run 39mm carbs on stock bores, it all depends on what you plan to do with your power. For top end you want a bigger carb.

If you have a carb bored it needs to be taper bored in order to work correctly.

how much? and i dont no if you got my email but the 310 kit i got is a sleeve kit so i will still have the stock cylinder.
