this is my 70. I heard that you can put a motor/trans from a 84-85 125cc into a 70 frame with no major modifications. Does anyone know of this to be true? If so, I'm very intrested in doing this. Thanks for any help. Jon

Have you seen this motor conversion before? Do you know of any pics availableof this?
My boss asked me if I knew anyone that wants a 70 ATC "it has front and rear shocks" I said front and rear shocks! I'll take it. From what I've heard these 70's were built by El Cajon Motortsports ,San Diego,CA in the 80's. The fronts shocks are off a honda trailbike and the rear swingarm was made along with the frame and triple clamps. Everything else is original 70. I just cleaned it up a bit.

I've heard of people putting 110 motors in 70 frames, the motor apperently sat either a little steeper/less steep so they just over filled it with oil slightly.
I'm sure theres somone on here thats done it.

Wow, awesome 70 there! Personally if I had a trike that looked that nice, I'd try making it run just as good by doing the 200x engine swap :-)
