It's just a steerable gyrocopter. Have you ever seen one of those crash? Little or no protection for the pilot\driver.

That a Gyro! My dad bought one in 1977 from Ken Brock. My dad crashed twice, got banged up. I wouldn't go up in one. Ken Brock actually died in a crash 5 or so years ago.
