z-50...xr50...crf50 interchangeable?

i have a 86 z50.im pretty sure alot of the motor stuff will work from the xr 50.is the crf 50 just a xr/z50 with superior suspension and better plastic? the motor seems to look the same,im pretty sure they use the same clutch plates too,i dont know to much bout the crf 50s.im mainly looking at carbs,pipes and stuff.....

Interchangable along with the atc\trx 70, trx 90 and most lifan engines. My buddy has a z50 with a lifan 125, very crazy for a little hardtail bike. It's painted flat black, red wheels and hand painted gangster whitewalls. I would look into the lifan 125 or the lifan 138.

is the lifan the real deal,or like a pep boys honda replica...ive seen them on ebay but dont know anything about it.looks like you can buy a complete lifan with everything ready for a install for a little over $300,not bad if its a quality motor....

I have one for one of my suspension 70s. They are very popular with the guys at glamis dunes atc70 site. Some people like the electric start, some people convert the kickstarts to pullstarts so they won't have to mess with the battery. The wiring system takes a little work but there is a website that sells the adapter harnesses to put them into several different kinds of bikes and the atc70s. Mine is very fun.
