Alright guys, round four another double points race is this weekend down in the Tampa area, Eastbay Raceway. http://www.eastbayracewaypark.com/ is the site to get directions from. There will be a knobbie class that I'm also running in to get some seat time in against the quads. If you don't have flat track tires this would be a great place to come out and try it. Gates open at 8:00AM Sunday morning, registration starts at 9:00AM. First practice 11AM, first class starts racing at 1:00PM from what I'm told. This should be a very interesting race, the track is a huge stock car track and the sides are banked big time from what I've read.

ummmm........
I hope you meant 1p.m., Billy...lol
Once again, I wish mine were ready for this weekend, but I'm not even on the sidelines. I've become increasingly concerned that it wouldn't be together by May 12(in that scenario I would have driven further at a later date to race with ya'll anyway) since it's sat here collecting dust for the last 2-3 weeks.....but things are unexpectedly looking up.
I ordered a 22x8x10 Front Max, 2-8x8 3+5 ITP T-9 Pros, 2-Duro 18x11x8 HF -245s, a good running '85 motor(complete) with all ignition parts, and bought an '85 rolling chassis that's got a couple things I need on it yesterday.....so things are looking a lot better now.:)
All I have left to get now is small stuff like cables/pod filter/brake pads/kill switch and such. I'll upgrade some things later in the season....I'm just doing as much as I can afford to in an effort to get it going as quick as possible.
going to Mystic to get my tire this afternoon and will be bringing the nobs for ya billy!

Yeah you better make this one as close as it is! I'm gonna try and be there shortly after the gates open Sunday mornin.
Good deal Alan, I'm really looking forward to have a full grid there for us this weekend...I think its gonna be great. Don't look like theres many people entering the knobbie class, maybe I've got a chance in it.
Plowboy, sounds like the KXT is coming right along! I can't believe the Swainsboro race is that close, geeze. Hopefully I don't have a catastrophic failure between now and then myself.

I was having a heckuva time getting everything together by then anyway, even though it looks like I would have made it. I've got places to race around here, but I just wanted to get together with ya'll on the track, so I'll stay in Alabama that weekend.
I'll meet up with ya'll at a later date somewhere.....and put the $$ I would've spent on the trip to GA into making my ride a little meaner for when we do meet up:)
