finnally got a picture to put up, it is a free beater in need of a overhaul bad, every time i take it out, its "check the gas, and fill the crankcase" good mosquito fogger. found a yellow yamaha down the road for sale, looks like a larger one, might have to see if i can pick it up. this is a '82-83 atc 200, my wife's brother gave it to me. http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l241/racsan_2006/daves002.jpg

for free that thing doesnt look bad at all. rebuild the topend and with some tlc you should have a good dependable trike and best of all you can get it dirty without worryin too much.

I had one like that, it did great in the mud and would not quit running.

You did a lot better on your free trike than I did. Have fun with it.

digging this old post up from the grave, i havent ran my atc in about 2 years, the compression is so bad it just doesnt want to fire. and most of last year ive been on night shift and havent had the time to do anything with it. now im laid off and have some time, im either going to rebuild it or look for one in better condition. how bad are these things to rebuild? or am i better off searching e-bay for a cream puff? i really dont want a quad, another 200 series would suit me fine, maybe even the big red 200 with electric start and reverse. the best thing about my trike is the front tire, everything else is pretty well wore.
