I `m so excited the farmer down the street almost made me crash my truck as I was driven by, he was pushin a mint 70 out of the barn with a forsale sign in his hand. I stopped and got out and asked what the deal was he said he bought yrs ago for his kids and they never rode it. I got it for $75 he said it ran when parked but all the yrs of sitting the tank is real bad inside but I cleaned the points and put a little squirt of gas down the carb and it started on one pull. Now its off to the dealer for a carb kit and to figure out what yr it is. Anyone got any ideas on where to get a tank. I`ll try to get pics soon

Welcome to the addiction!!!! I love my 70s. How bad is the tank? you can send it out and have it cleaned and coated, metal tanks on ebay bring good money if not rusted out. Post up some pics.

there is a lot more info at this website.

This is what I was going to suggest too. If it's not full of holes but just needs to be cleaned up (rust, varnish, whathaveyou), somebody asked about it here (http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/showthread.php?t=67632) and I made a recommendation.

And yes, put up some pictures. I like those little guys a lot.
