So i was toying around with the idea of other toolboxes that would fit my 86 tecate. I gave up on trying to find an original which is nearly impossible. So i took a 2001 kawasaki lakota toolbox and retro-fitted it on. Only one hole drilled to ream out the rear mount hole on the bracket. Fits real nice and looks like it belongs there. Sits straight and its a kawaski part too.
I figured i'd pass this info along. Just make sure you have the mounting bracket.
