Welcome to the boards. This post will probably be moved by a moderater since it is in the wrong section. I'm having a tough time figuring out exactly what you are trying to do because of the spelling, but here goes. Having a trike that is for racing is sort of at one end of the spectrum and having a trike for trail riding is at the other end of the spectrum. The cam and carb you would use for racing would not exactly be the cam and carb for trail riding. For the racing end, you would want something that is wide open all the time, big cam with lots of lift, big carb flowing lots of fuel and air. That works fine for a bike that is wide open on the throttle most of the time but would not be a very good trail bike. A trail bike you would usually want something that has more of a lower end punch and the cam and carb would be alot different. If your trails are pretty tight and twisty, the racing trike would more than likely load up and run terribly if at all. Most of the people on this site build trikes specifically for racing. You can hop up a bike for the trails, but it would not be the best for racing. Your trike would probably be good for one or the other, but hardly for both. I don't know what kind of budget you are working with, or where you will be racing the bike at, but you better check if the track has rules or limitations before you go building something that wouldn't even be able to race because you have exceeded the rules for displacement or modifications. If you are just racing your buddies is another ball of wax. But just like NASCAR, you wouldn't want to try and drive Jeff Gordons' car through the drive in at McDonalds or down to the grocery store, cause the car just isn't made to perform like that in those conditions. So your choices are to either build it specific for racing or trail riding or to just have it be a compromise of both which would probably not work too well for the racing. And you never really said if your dealing with tight twisty trails or wide open trails. Which you would want to mod your trike differently for each to get the maximum performance for the type of trails that you are riding. Good luck and have fun.
