Here's my 2, well 1 1/2.
The beater (86R) and the queen (85R). I'll be making a great one out of the 2 (economics, if you know what I mean) :cry: and selling parts so other trikes can be saved. I have not decided which one yet :confused: . A lot of great parts tho.

Bought mine last year. It was hurtin and needed to be saved.
1985 but has a 1986 seat on it.
Put a lot of $$$ and TLC into it but well worth it.

I remember having that exact same one on my 85R way back in 1986, it was a ceet seat cover.
Then I put one on white/red on my TRX in 88...

Here's mine the day i got it, :TrikesOwn i got it real cheap and alll i had do do was add hand control's and cable's and fresh fluid's .it goes like a raped ape, when i bought it i thought it was stock buy later i realized after further inspection it has a pipe silencer reed's ported polshed bored over and has a old school aftermarket rear axle i'm real impressed with it and plan on doing a cosmetic resto on it soon!

My neighbor scored an 86 R from this older lady whose son had left it in her shed for years. He gave her 300 bucks for it and it's a runner, all there. Too much in my book for an R but my neighbor is psyched. HaHa.lol

Just kidding! There are some really mint Rs on here. edog, yours could be the best, although check menus for thumb throttle and I'd have to ride it first :rolleyes: I've paid more for a lot less before.:crazy:

i baught my first 3 wheeler when i was 15. 600 bucks for a perfect 1985 110, no rust tool kit , no knee rub marks on the fuel tank paint.i miss that bike.

this 250r is all rebuilt and clean and fast as hell.this bike wants to kill me.

I had just painted the frame on the 86 and threw the old plastic back on to see what it would look like. The 85 had been owned by some pill heads and this is what happened to it before I got it.

LOL!!! Lots of good "free" stuff on there. FMF pipe and silencer, rad valve with carbon reeds, k&n filter, polished wheels and a couple of other goodies. The stator was shot so he pulled everything apart a few years ago and never put it back together, it was stored in an old shed ever since. I will post progress pics when i start to restore it, i might keep the redneck camo paint job though...LOL.

I had some problems with the engine.(Used engine)
So I had to tear it down and rebuild it 3 months after I assembled the bike.
New Crank,New bearings, seals,And is Now bored .060 over.
I just got it back up and running and took it out on the trails yesterday.It runs flawless now.

I honestly dont understand why no-one else has any luck with a Z.

I had more crap to iron out with this Honda in 3 months.,Than I put into my yellow Z in 2 years.

But I am over it now, and the work has paid off.I am starting to dig it now.

It now has an ESR ATC5 pipe, a 350x front wheel with 23" tire, ITP Holeshot rear tires and rims, a +3 86 powder coated swingarm, RPM Dominator rear axle, LSR Dual row carrier, new chain and sprockets, and Xsystem's swingarm bushings.

Yea restore is coming It is all stock I even have the gold rear rims not pictured as far as the tank I think im going to get a clarke replace ment from what i can tell yhey are identical to stock i would like to do an O.E.M. on it but I dont have the $$$$$$

dont know when I ll get to it I have 2 engines both need inner cases even more $$
