I found a used set of ITP T9 10 inch rims and had some 18x11x10 Dico Fast Trekkers put on them by a local tire shop manager (who I know). The bead is seated but the sidewall of the tire is nowhere near the edge of the rim. There is a big gap I can just picture will fill up with rocks.
Anybody else experience this?
If not, this combo sucks.

Is this tire shop manager experienced with ATV tires? Your bead isnt seated on the rim. Lube it up with soapy water, and inflate to max pressure for seating bead as is indicated on the tire. The bead will slide over and make a very loud pop when it seats. Then let air out to the desired presure.

I got that same exact setup with 20" Titan Fast Trekker tires and its a real hot setup. I know alot of people are running them. I think Tim Sr. may be correct. Give that a try.
he meaty! those 20's look GOOD! I might have to get some 20's when my 18's ware out wich as soon as my 300 is done WONT BE LONG!

They used grease at the tire shop and yes th manager has experience with atv tires.
I heard the tire pop when he walk walked back and tried it again.
I found a picture of some 18" on a rim that looked gapped out like mine.
I saw two sets on trikes today but on OEM rims and the owner swears by um.
Maybe it is the rim size? I am not sure how wide they are. They were for the 89-90 Banshee. Maybe they are 10.5 wide?
