tecate trouble!

hi i just picked up a 85 tecate 3 and it wont stay in second gear first is fine rides wheelies second goes and then pops out you have to hold it in gear with yer foot and the same with third but fourth and fifth are fine any help is greatly appreciated thanks kevin

Your dogs are rounded off. Either you have to have them backcut or replace with good used gears. Sounds like your whole box is bad. Generally your forks take a severe beating when gears come out, so expect to locate good ones as well.

I got 85 t3 gears I will be willing to get rid of just to let you know. I got a whole engine thats apart and im not doing nothing with if anyone needs anything.
