Can't get front axle out...

85 Honda 250SX and I can't budge the front axle. I've already broken a wrench and several sockets. Any sugestions?

Well if the nut wont come off the axle you have few options. Try putting some heat to it, the hotter the better, to a point. Or you could cut it out and buy or make a new one depending on if new is still available. Now if the nut comes off I can pretty much garuntee the axle will not come out easy and if at all.

let it soak in PB BLASTER (over Night ) - Get a Impact Gun , Or a Breaker Bar and a impact Socket !

Should be ok with this ...

Did you ever get it out? This happened to my dad, he used a torch and some candle wax and it started to come loose.

I haven't messed with it, I've umpiring a baseball tourney. Gonna try again tomorrow. Got enough money to buy tires now...

Heat and candle wax. That is what I was going to recommend. I think that is a trick most people don't know.

make sure you take the 4 nuts holding that little axle holder piece out.

Its on the opposite fork than which the axle screws into.

Dont laugh but i thought i could just crank it out without taking that piece off. I soon found out you cant.

Buy a Manual - Always Helps if you don't really know what your doing ...

Take some pictures so we can see what going on with it ?
