Well as some of you people know, Lonesometri-z told me about 3 trikes in north TN that need saving from the crusher. Yeah thats right, the guy said buy them or they are getting crushed. Well I hate seeing complete trikes getting trashed away. So I figured If I saved one, it would be worth it. Well I decided to tackle a 200es, since that is one trike I have never owned and figured it would be neat building it up. The other 2 are going home to fellow board members in the near future.

Well after alittle over a months time, I have been able to transform this trash heap into a pretty nice trike with tons of potential. It still has some work to do, to make it up to my standards but I had to get a few pics in. I got some more stickers for the sides and a few more odds and ends to complete it up. Now its now OEM or NOS shape but its not bad for me and a few dollars lol:crazy: .

Very nice work! I thought the 84s have a horizontal stripe on the gas tank. Kinda like this: \____ (left side)
Have you ever thought about making some sort of bracket to hold up the rear part of the fenders from sagging? I was thinking of making something like whats used on the 250SX, that lets the fender rest on it and doesnt require holes drilled. I havent gotten much past the thinking part though.

Well according to the pics I have in the mags that is the correct sticker for the year. In fact I got stickers from Harlan and he sent me those that matched the tank.
I thought about something with the rear fenders. It has a brace that goes thru the plastics but it is close to the front. I am thinking about adding a piece towards the back that attaches to it and bring up the fenders more. They dont have any cracks but they still seem to sag some.

Now call the guy who was so willing to crush them and tell him you parted them all out for over 5 grand. Then thank him for being a douche and then laugh as you hang up on him.
