View Full Version : Anyone know what trike this is?

my friend just bought this trike for $75, we call it the wheelie machine because you cant keep the front end on the ground. I can tell you its a Yamaha, its got a shaft drive, pull/electric start, and its a semi-auto and thats about it. sorry about the crappy pics.....btw - im not the fat gay kid in the pics, im the one on the honda..

p.s. its got a 200x front end..

It looks to be a 1984 or 1985 225 DXN of DRN.

Maybe a 200X front end on it.

um, i could swear we swapped the front from a 200r...but it appears as though you know much more than i do. so yea it could be a 200x

if it has a rear suspension it is a 225 and without suspension, it is a 200E. They are no black 200e from the factory ( I think) but they did black 225.

well the one we took the front end from had front and rear suspension, and it wasent a semi-auto...

I was most likely a 1983 to 1985 200X.

This thing is painted black... you can see yellow showing through...

it looks exactly like my fathers 84 225dx. except for the front end.

that front end has a weird angle, looks almost broken, dont take it off any jumps!
