Well here she is...new rear fenders, radiator shrouds, FMF pipe, tires, and a 86 seat. I'm gonna try that red Fusion paint on the tank because its faded...get a new grab bar...and a new set of bars sometime. Other than that I think it looks alot better than it did. I also plan on doing a 310 kit for it...so if anyone is selling one, let me know.:TrikesOwn

if you are running gas, painting the tank can be a huge headache as the fumes seep through the plastic and make the paint peel. if its alky, no problem. you can sand down your tank to get that shine back also...

Wet sand the crap out of the tank, then buff it to a shine. Do not paint it. There ways to make paint work but there's no reason when you can just sand that oxidation off then buff it out.

Looks like your forks might be sagging a little too. You can cut some 1, 2 or 3 inch spacers out of 1 inch PVC and put them in the forks right on top of the springs to stiffen them up a bit.

Dammit's right.....don't use paint.
Your tank really doesn't look too bad.
Wet sanding works pretty good, but can take a long time.
I brought mine back to damm near new using 3M polishing compound.
I went from heavy to cut most of the oxidized plastic away, and gradually worked down to finish. I used a 4 inch wheel, and a six inch wheel.
If you're on a budget, sanding will be cheaper by far.

Hells yeah dude...that tank can easily be sanded/buffed out to a nice shine. How are you liking that pipe & silencer combo? I'm running the exact same setup and I really like it. More power at every level and very predictable.

yea...my forks are sagging, I got to get them rebuilt, the seals are shot and leak. You put ATF in the forks right?
