I own a 85' 110 atc honda.
It's had no brakes for 15 years lol!
I always kept very low tire pressure in it, and to stop, I would jusy lean it over on two wheels, the thing would stop in a few feet.

Well I ahd to buy some new tires, and they really don't stop the trike as well, so now I have to fix the brakes. Plus, I am planning on letting my kids start riding, and they must have brakes.

MY problem was, back when they went, that everytime I went into the mud with the thing, and then hit the brakes a few times, I would lose the brakes, and have to go buy new brake pads. I am guessing the abrasivness of the mud ate away the pads.
I am guessing also, that it ate away the drum as well, as new pads will not work, when the brakes are fully extended.

So I need a new drum, and new pads.

OR is there another solution? Possible a disc conversion?

Anyway to stop this from happening in the future, I really like mudding with it.

Anyone else have this problem?
