Hey guys. I just traded some junk for a Tri Zinger. Among some carb issues (which is soaking right now, it also has a problem with the clutch. It seems to stay engaged - almost like it's too tight. Just pull starting it, the bike wants to roll. Anyone know anything about these? It doesn't have the typical external adjusting screws like the Hondas do. I don't know squat about the Zingers. It's in VERY good condition and I want to make it right before selling. Any help from you gearhead gurus would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It's probly been sitting for a long time & the clutch shoes are stuck to the outer drum. The Zinger clutch Is a real simple set up. The right side cover has to come off to access It. Maybe you can get It to break loose once you get Is running. I would suggest pulling the side cover & looking at It, In case something else Is going on though.

Thanks a million Jason & Yamahonda. I think you guys nailed it. The seller told me it has been sitting for 10 months. I'll pull the side cover off and take a sniff. Also, I will give the carb one more chance and off it comes for good. May be looking for a PW carb. Thanks again guys. It will probably be a few days *Edited**Edited* I get to it, but I'll post a follow-up on my findings.

Does your zinger have the START/RUN/OFF switch by the thumb throttle?

Bigreddaddy - Yes it does have the start/run/stop switch. Regardless if it's in the run position or the start position, it still does it.
