350x and web cams drop in cam

Any one running this, if so what other mods do you got. Id like to go more mods later on but still want to run on pump gas. Higher comp piston possible?

I believe thet require you to have the valve rockers hardwelded. You might want to look into this first.

Do not put any new cam in your motor unless you put in the hardened rockers! Trust me on this I put in the same cam as you and it tore my rocker arms a new one. It wore a horrible looking groove in one but not the other. I just found out the hard way why they recommend you put the hardened rockers in. Also I would suggest putting in the stiffer valve springs. I believe that they had something to do with my recent motor frying :mad: . I think I will either go back to a stock cam if I decide to rebuild it or an all out agressive cam because the one I put in didn't make any difference on power IMO.

Def. opt for the titanium retainers and chrome moly springs. hardened rockers a must!

I have a dropin cam in one of mine. And i LOVE the power. ALL low rpm torque. Its awesome when you race somone and never get past 1/2 throttle and win. With that cam you need to short shift and dont rev out the engine. It works well with a supertrapp 6-7 dics or stock exhaust. With the airbox lid on. Now my engine is ported so that helped me alot, and i ported it to fit the cam. The 400ex carb is a must with any performance mod to a 350x. Depending on the conditions the X i have with the drop in cam, ported, with an supertrapp exhaust. Will beat my fully modded X. Dude send me a pm, Ive built quite a bit of x's and know what works. I also have a setup i wana try, I think that with only a few $ with the combo i have in my head your X can be a force to be rekoned with. LOOK OUT PINGERS THE THUMPERS ARE COMIN!!!!
