200x Shift Shaft?

A guy near me is selling a 200x that needs a new shift shaft according to him, are these hard to replace or easy? Also, are they hard to find?

If it's a 83-85 200x the shift shafts aren't hard to replace. You do have to pull the right side ( clutch ) cover, and the clutch. The shift shaft should slide out fairly easy. Finding a replacement isn't too bad either. I'm sure you can find a good used one cheap to fairly cheap. I probably have a extra one myself.

Now if it's a 86-87 200x the parts are a little harder to find, but replacing it isn't too bad.
