Been busy getting the T3 ready for TF and I made progress today so I thought I'd share.

1. New seat. Of course it's from cosmicquads. Tammy did a great, better than great, job on my seat. She took a picture and a vague set of wishes and crafted a beautiful seat fit for a king.

2. I wanted to build a wheelie bar for the drags at TF. Went this morning and got some angle steel from Lowes and bolted together a contraption that hopefully will keep me off my back-side during those winning drag passes.

3. And now for the winning drag passes. I sent my KX250 cylinder to Corey Sprock. He bored it to make it a 300cc, replated it, new piston, and a billet cool head. I'm pumped about the new KxXT 300. Should be increadible power. Unfortonately, UPS is a little slow and I'll be installing the Sprock parts this week after work. I talked to Corey on Wednesday and he said he was sending it on Thursday. No worries, should have plenty of time to get it apart and back together before TF. Don't know if I'll have it dialed in by the time I get there, but surely before the drags, I'll have it sorted through.

Watch out boys, Spiritus Leonis is on the prowl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:Bounce

About time for an extended swingarm... Lowering the bike will help with the wheelstands too... I would build a strut to go in place of the shock and slam that sucker... lower the fork tubes in the tripples too...

Lopes, I'm running the stock 34 carb with big main and pilot jets. I cut a 3" hole in the airbox lid. Hope it works out okay. I opted for the cool head right now instead of a new carb. Budgets suck.

Well, the wheelie bar is cobled together, about the best I can do without welding and time doesn't alow for that. Basket, I sure hope you are wrong about the death trap. I'm gonna run it, we'll see. BGM it is held to the frame with four bolts, makes it easy on, easy off. I'll only use it for the drag competition at TF. My neighbor is a retired New York metal worker. I had him take a look at it. After he stopped laughing, he pushed and pulled on it, gave me some pointers on how to make it stronger, which I did, and he said it should work. Hope so.
