As stated in title. Im an atc newb. Im used to dirtbikes and I cant figur out how to adjust it. After doing a search, I think I might need a special tool for it. But as of right now, I dont know where to start.

The concentric carrier is what adjusts your chain. You loosen the carrier in the swingarm, then there's some bolts you tighten to turn it (I think, not totally sure, because I've never owned one).

ok look at the rear end. there are 2 allen head bolts parralel of each other on your carier. Lossen them up and take them out. Then next to your sproket is a circular piece with notches cut in it. honda makes a tool but you can turn it either with a large set of vice grips or as a last resort a hammer and punch. After you figure out which way to turn it and have it tight reinsert the allen bolts and make sure they both go in evenly. Roll the ATC to make sure the chain doesnt bind and your golden

Thanks for the ehlp guys. Im runing into a problem though. I took out the allen head bolts but the piece that you need to turn with a spanner or with some large vicegrips wont turn. I tried the hammer and punch with a FIVE POUND SLEDGE and it wont break loose. Any suggestions?

you want to hit the bottom of it so it turns counterclockwise to tighten.
