Little by little are you going to Raffaize it here and there with bling ? Tank cleaned up, new vinyl on side plates, exhaust painted and those will be a few big improvements right there looks wise!

Nice that it has a super trapp exhaust . How many disc are on it? Is it really loud?

I hear NY is hard to street legal a bike, is that so, are you going to try?

I'm so into mine, I honestly have not even thought of going triking, HEY, it's been 22 years since I had a street legal thumper, what do you expect! :D

Mine is pretty much going to be for highways and back gravel roads only as it's just too freakin heavy (327 lbs) for serious trail riding and I'd hate to fall and wreck the thing, ya know ?

Why I didn't post mine on here, there is no reason ?? I'll do it today when back from work.

What are your plans with that, to leave it be or reestore the whole thing ?

I might ?? cruising all around NY on mine on Saturday 14th but you may just a bit too far from my destination BUT it would be cool if I could make it !!

I'm going to Unadilla MX race on Sunday and just going to ride all around NY on Saturday and end up where I end up and get a motel room. Now if the weather is crap then my plans are blown and I'll just stay home. :(

Yes sir gonna clean it up tank, side plates, rear fender,chain, sprockets,new clutch,and some paint,seat cover,stickers and what ever else it needs :D
It really dont need a restore quite yet but ya never know...you know how I get when I start getting into something..;)

havent counted the disks yet.. it's quiet at a idle :lol:
and have all ready found the piston to make it a 625cc:twisted:

eventually I will road leagalize it,,signals and tires

I read tons of info on Mefo's, I think I'm going to go with those. There are a lot choices for sure but the Mef's are top dog for my useage.

painted the old ones.. lookin for new ones..the front headlight one is a carbon fiber sticker I cut,, Ya about a day and a half :lol:

you going to the dirtbike races or the ATV races? Im going to the ATV races usually the weekend after the bikes.. I meet up with 03orangeshee and we hoop it up on the long up hill over by the walk tunnel..And Ill sometimes do some flagging if needed :beer

Nice grab, Raffa:Bounce Does it have the auto decompression that works with the kicker, or the mini lever below the clutch lever?
I got a Supertrapp for my DR & I had the same problem w/ it roasting the fender, so I made a lil deflector outta coil stock & a hose clamp, works like a charm & doesn't look 1/2 bad, either.........

ya the tank cover came with it... alittle carb cleaner and it got real clean..just had to be careful around the print or it would wipe right off..I might send it to the moshes to get reproduced or just get a new white Clark tank and some new tank stickers...it has a few tiny rips in it but looks better than the yellow tank..:wondering

yep got the Auto decompression..good god I'm glad it does!!
super trap sells the deflector that bolts right in..Im getting one before I bolt the new rear fender on!!

Chris super fun bike..The power is right there when ya need it!! Boy have I missed riding wheelies on a bike!!

One great thing is theres not a real big demand on tt600 parts on ebay so the pickens are all mine:naughty:

haha ya it does..got a new clutch plates and pressure plate for it, new bars and grips ,chain, sprockets,new plug, new muffler side plate,spark plug boot,cluch cover gaskit,and put a RTC easy pull clutch lever on it..

think im just gonna spend the $160 and get the new white tank...I learned that its actually a 85 even tho the frame says 84 because it was made after july..

nice tt600. i got one for 50 bucks once. my wifes dad had 4 of them at one time. they are really heavy bikes. dont bother with a new white tank. i got a brand new one with my tt600 and gave it to my wifes dad and with in 1 ride it was all yellowed up from his knees resdting o nthe tnak. just get white leather and cover it over.

I'd rather have a new white tank or redo that one. White can look nice all the time if taken care of properly.

I don't know about your tank cover but usually they fit pretty crappy.

BTW ......... I rode up to Courtland NY this weekend then went over to Dilla on Sunday.
