For some damn reason I can't load the entire video, but the R clearly annihilates them off the line. Not surprising though. There's a guy that rides at the dunes here that has an R, not sure what year but it's MINT and he's got it modded to hell. He's in his late 30's and has been riding/racing trikes his entire life. I've seen him put Banshees, Raptors, and tons of others to shame at the dunes more than once. He knows his trikes like the back of his hand and is highly skilled at fine tuning them. If there's any modded R out there that is running at 100% peak performance, it's his.

Matter of fact....of all the riders I've ever seen there on every kind of trike/quad, I've never seen one person beat him. :TrikesOwn

daaaaaaaaaaammmmmnnnnnnnnn. can you say owned!!! that r was ripping. funny how you hear the high pitch tinging of the 2 strokes then a few seconds later you hear the 400z thumping it up in the rear. im not gonna say i cant wait for the lakes to freeze over this year, gee summer just started, lol, but it will be fun. lake riding and ice racing is awesome. wide open!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think the only one with real riding experience is the 250r and the 400z sounds like he's taking the corners ripin at maybe 3000rpm cheers

Hi Guys....I'm not nuts.....:naughty: I just hang on for dear life. Ice racing is a ton of fun. That video is from 2003. I'm sorry that I don't have any newer videos, but the lake has not frozen too well the past 2 years so we did not get any good video.

As far as a good race is concerned, look at the one with the Banshee and my R. We went at it like cats and dogs. That was a great race. We were pushing the motors as hard as they would go.

That race was with my old FTZ 250 motor, not the 330. The 330 would have made it even worse for them. That was probably the last day on that motor. It was a ticking like a time bomb.

That is rider skill right there. It is not always the more powerful that win. If you have the skill, power is not that much of a threat.
