The guy I brought to TF is stepping up and buying a machine. :w00t:
He's buying it from "Charlie the Pirate's" bro-in-law (I think that's the relation). They're delivering it tomorrow.
2005 YFZ450 with very low hours.

You take somebody to TRIKEfest and they decide they should buy a quad?

He said "I want a trike, but don't want something 20 years old" I said see if Derrick or Jason will sell their new hybrids. He asked and they both have too much money invested for my buddy to be able to buy either one.
So, he started looking at quads. He liked the look of the Raptor...the rest is history.

Rhuel got it right. I loved riding his 350X, but can't see spending so much money on something 20 years old.
So what good is a new quad without a new quad story. Yeah, I made a *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited**E dited* move the first day out. So I just assumed that the bike had gas in it. I took it for a test drive up the back road, got about a mile from my house and stalled it. It wouldn't start (the thing has an electric start). I kept trying and trying. It wouldn't even turn over once. So I though, ok, I'll get it on a downhill and try to start it again. Nothing. I started pushing it back to the house (luckily it was mostly a downhill grade). I got to the bottom of my town and couldn't go any further. The rest of the way to my house was uphill, about 2-300 yards. I called my uncle and had him pull me the rest of the way. You've already guessed what happens. I killed the battery trying to start the thing without gas. But why didn't I turn on the reserve? Cause I didn't know how to, I'm a newbie, remember...
Anyway, I got it back home. My dad and I hooked up the battery charger. After 10 or so minutes he wanted to try it out. I said go for it. One fence post and one drain pipe later, it's parked back under the back porch. Don't get me wrong, he knows how to ride stuff. He was hell on tracks with his snomobile. But he just wasn't used to the 0 turning radius of this thing. The bike is fine, he just sideswiped the stuff.
So anyway, that's my *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited**E dited* story. I'm sure there'll be more to come. I'll post some pics of me on the bike when I feel like pulling it out again.
