I just went through this... The PRM skidplate is incredibly tough. 1/4 inch thick metal and I'm very happy with it. It is 100$ and well worth it. They are on EBAY for a few more bucks and I have seen another brand on there for a bit more. I recommend getting the skidplate and the grab bar in one shot :w00t:

The skidplate is tougher than the swinger mounts. That rear mount with a single bolt is cheap. When I tear it down I'll build a better mount...
