press them in and out is the beat way to do it. The best way for the average person to do it(without access or wanting to pay a machinist), is the hit the bearings out with a stock, 19mm 3/8 drive(atleast for 250r's) and to press the new ones in with a large c-clamps and socket that fits it. Depending on how bad the bearings are, you might have to heat the area, let it cool, and oil them a few times.

I've used a peice of 1 inch shaft, and then hit on the top of the bearing then the bottom and work it out. Once you get 1 bearing out then remove the spacer. If you have a peice of 4-6 inch tubing that is half sturdy then just stick that against the remaining bearing and hit it with a big hammer. Remember, a propane torch and penetrating oil are your best freind.

Get a torch and a BFH (big friggin hammer) to beat the old one out, then a large socket to get the new one in there.

BEAT IT OUT! Or do it the right way and buy a swingarm bearing removal and installation tool from Motion-Pro. That way you don't need to heat it up to the point of burning off your paint, or damaging the swingarm by not supporting it right on the bottom side.

Rocky Mountain ATV has them.
