I was just curious to see what a "nice" bike in your guys eyes were. We all have our different qualifications and depending on your answers i might have to post a pic of what i call a "nice" bike.
Thanks

I would say dune machines! They stay so clean that its actually worth building a nice bike. Around here in PA I would maybe fix up a bike but never a full restore to go out and ride it. I wouldnt buy a mint atc and go trail riding with it like my 200x. As long as it runs and isnt completely mangled its nice in my book. A few simple things to fix it up and its trail worthy to me. On mine I got new plastics, repainted some things, exhaust, tires, chain, sprockets, forks etc. Its not pretty buts it perfect for trails.
I would consider mine "decent" compared to half the kids quads. They go out and trash them and go buy a new one and repeat. Half of them are pieced together with all different year parts. Most of them are painted black with stone guard. Cant forget the deer antlers on the bars

If you're talking "bike" as in two wheels, I'd go with a good ole 250 2-stroke. Low maintenance, plenty of go-jo and if it's setup right you can have fun on trails or the track. My older race bike (way back in the day, 1993) was setup for track, but then when I got older I had more fun on trails, hill climbs and smaller (40-90 ft.) table tops or doubles. I think I have a picture some where... (hold)

Now don't get me wrong, this thing ain't mint... but she runs mighty fine and will hurt you if not careful :) I'd still like to give a CRF450 a shot... But I don't know... I guess it all comes down to something that you can have fun on :)

Ok, Ok its obvious with a question like that you would get these responses. Thank you to everyone who responded, love all the pics and comments. Im from southern california and grew up riding at Glamis. Yes, nice bikes (trikes) fair much better in the sand it is so forgiving and depending on the conditions you can actually ride all day and only need to blow off your trike. This being said I also agree with those of you that say you need to ride them. We take pride in building clean performance machines. They not only have to look good, but perform perfectly. We also are into restoring trikes, so we pretty much do a little bit of what everyone is into, except for the flat tracker I wish I was in your area because it looks like it would be a blast. I wanted to include a picture for you guys, but my pictues exceed the forums size limit ? My pics are on average 1.5MB does any one know how to fix this im a bike guy not a computer guy.

Open the pic in paint then select Image then stretch/skew then type in 50/50 for the size, then save. Try the pics again after that.
flat track is a blast!

Well you can resize them with some photo software and save them at a lower quality where they will fit the inhouse file uploader. Or youcan register a photobucket acount, www.photobucket.com upload them there and then post the links here.

http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe
Download, install. Right click the picture your trying to upload, click resize image. Set it to large, make a copy of the original. Upload the new resized pic. Should work without a hitch (if you got windows xp)

dales e.t. bike is a NICE bike. by far the best bike ive seen so far. i love this thing. but ive seen some other nice bikes too. some are the "casper' bike , oldsking86's 250R is slamming too. ooo and dammit's el diablo ooo and billy's 500R. hell there are a ton. but the nicest (my opinion) is the e.t. bike.
