ebay is your best bet, but its very hard to find the piston and ring kits for them once you do find them, there is a place I have saved that modifies the cylinders for a liquid cooled big bore piston to keep them going. Prices can very I got a head for 15 bucks a few months back, but Ive seen them go well over 3-400 at times and as cheap as 100 for a cyl/head/piston, best bet is to find a running motor with one already on it.

Yes they are discontinued but Babbitts still has some new ones left at there warehouse also if you want to go with a forged piston kit you can get one off ebay from discountcycleparts for $115.00 that will work with a slight cylinder mod that costs $65.00 heres a picture.

Hey Alan I just sent the guy an e-mail about the piston kit I asked him if the kit was wiseco, and I also asked him if he knew what exactly needed to be done to the cylinder to make the kit work. When I hear back from him I'll post up the info he gives me:)

Well Alan the guy e-mailed me back but he wasn't very helpful with answering my questions all he said was "sure we can do the mods, with bore & hone for 65.00."
I just think he doesn't want to give up his secret for fear of loosing business and he didn't mention what brand the piston was, I'll just have to ask him again Dammit

I've heard you can use a Kawasaki jetski piston, from a 650cc or something with similiar mods to using the later atc/trx pistons.
