Honestly, all those 125 bikes are VERY similar and have almost identical stats. I'd go with whichever one has a better dealership in your town.

I wouldn't know about that too much, I have only ridden a CR125 on trails a couple times. Don't really like the big bikes, I'm much more of a "little machine" guy. I do know that the CR was very fun. You can't beat Honda reliability.

I personaly would go with the CR125. Honda bikes are known for lasting a long time. Cant go wrong with honda. :beer

The 02 Honda is a great machine. The biggest downfall is it is a bit soft on power output towards ALL other 125's, but who cares. If your a super serious racer and need every ounce of power, then it matters and only then.

The suspension is brialliant that year, reliability great, aluminum frame easy to care for, brakes excellent, handling excellent, get the Honda for sure !

The bike is a blast! :beer

If you really want more opinions join www.thumpertalk.com and go on the Honda and Kawi 2 stroke forums. You have a huger "audience" over there by far. :beer

I've owned a lot of KX's and CR's, and it's a tough one but my money would be on the CR. Both are great bikes, but IMO the Honda takes it in reliability hands down.

00 right on up doesn't make much difference, I'd sooner buy (just example) a REALLY nice 01 if there was a 03 that was the same price but not as nice as the 01.

They are all pretty much the same bike with minor damping and engine changes.

How much for these machines ? :pics: ??

i would say honda only because i owned a CR125 some years ago. it was a 97 but still a great bike. i dont see anything wrong with a kawasaki either, i owned one of them too.

pic the one the is in the best mechanical shape.

It also comes with 2 brand new tires...Now what??:wondering

First off its personal preference bro, get what you want and what you like.
But, I know I'm going against the grain here, but I wouldnt buy the honda (thats just me though), I just dont like them. I'v owned one, and my buddy has one, a 125, and it is giving him problems all the time. It's broke right now, again, after just being completely rebuilt. It broke twice before that, maybe it was the shops fault, who knows. Anyway, I just dont like the way the Honda bike's handle, to me they feel like a square block. :wondering

I have a suzuki now, just got rid of my old 97 yz, I absolutly hands down love these two bikes. Kawasaki? never rode one, but I'd buy it before a honda...
