I might be buying a Tri-z. But it has a few issues I am concerned about. First, it needs rear axle bearings. Parts aren't expensive. But I heard that on the Tri-z, its a very difficult job. How much harder is it to do them on a Tri-z than a 250R?

Second, there is a leak around the kick starter. He said that you can tighten the screws and it wont leak anymore ... but then you cant kick it over. Is this just a gasket/seal or is it a more serious problem?

Third, the brakes don't work because they need to be bled...but the bleeder screws are broken. How hard is it to get them out? Also, can I get replacements? Maybe im not looking in the right spots....but I cant find them.

Thanks

Bearing are simple and really no different than any other trike. Kickstart just needs the seal replaced, along with small housing gasket. again simple. Brakes are rebuildable with oem kits. All of this is normal on old machines and should not deter you from buying if the rest is decent and priced accordingly.

sounds like a kickstart seal..I know if ya run one with out one it will bind when tightend.. easy out and heat on the bleeder
