schroud help

have any of u guys ever tried to put the side schrouds from a 86 87 tecate 3 on a 85 or 84 model will it work with a little finess or dont even try it thanks guys jeff

welcome to the boards, and I dont think you can do that, the 86/87 have provisions on the gas tank for the shrouds to mount to, and the 84/85 have nothing on the tank to mount, I think biggreenmachine made a kx500 go on his 85 and it lookd sweet check him out, oh wait just give it a few he'll probabaly chime in soon post some pics if ya got them!

There is a member on this board that used to make reproduction plastic shrouds and
and would put them on ebay- Hornetpowersports

I have been looking for some and so have some other people but I received no response. The Left shroud is still available but the right is not.
