HONDA plastic on a TECATE?!!

Just wanted to get your opinions out there. This will make Kawi. guys roll over in their graves. I have a RED tecate that is my "every day rider" . The rear fender is totally junk. I really dont want to paint a green set, so my question is-has anyone ever put a set of a.t.c. plastic on an 84-85 tecate? If so, what model would look best?:crazy:

I have an extra red stock set I bought only for the chain decal and black warning decal (which i have never seen before) to have reproduced for my near perfect set. I can send you pics of that as well...I just have to heat gun the decals off..... I dont want to ruin the decals and would cut them out if I had to:eek: :eek: which would ruin the fender:crazy: All in the name of a spot on restore....Only reds you can get are Maiers which some people dont like
