My friend and I went riding out at the Majestic trails the other day, had a great time. He was riding a Mojave and I was on my airfooler. Those trails were a lot more challenging than I was expecting! I had the idea there would be a lot of easy trail cruising, boy was I wrong. I loved it though, it was fun weaving around and getting air off some of the bumps in the trail. I stayed on the intermediate trail, I don't know how much harder the expert portion was, but I don't think I'd want to try it yet. I didn't take my cell phone with me on the trail, so no riding pics, but I got a couple before and after shots. Can't wait to go back again, had a lot of people giving me weird looks and thumbs up. :w00t:

Nice 250r man. I can not wait to get mine running. I would also like to see some clean pics. Did you paint the tank white? I just repainted my tank red. The pictures are in my last post. I have a lot of people telling me that the air cooled 250r s are crap and that they over heat. Do you have any problems with yours? It looks really nice.

Thanks man! Ya, I painted the tank white. I haven't had any trouble overheating yet, I always try to keep moving and keep the mud cleaned out of the fins.

here's a pic when it was clean,

That's alright man, we'll definately have to meet up sometime. I didn't go on the MX track or the mud section, I know, I know, I'm a wimp. I did go up some pretty sweet hillclimbs when we accidently took the blue trails though. I ended up not even getting to the place until 2:00, I had to do some yardwork at our camp that was along the way (hence the mower in the truck) then we made a wrong turn in Kane, then another in Rew (mapquest screwed us over) so we didn't get as much riding time as we should have.

air coolers dont overheat! they run hotter than a liquid cooled but they dont overheat, my 300 ran like a champ all day long in 90 deg ocala fl weather pulling paddles in the sand, just like a blaster they radiate more heat from the fins, too cheap I will be sending out this grab bar tuesday!

Hey man I love that picture of your 250r all clean. I hope mine comes out like that. I am just about to sell my 1990 blaster for $900 so I should have some more money to get parts for my 250r. I hope I am not selling the blaster too cheap. Sounds like you have a lot of good riding in pa. Over here in nj everything is illegal and the cops ruin everything. I still have a couple of good places to ride though.

ha, I was only on 948 for a little bit, where it's on 66. I was on 66 the whole way to Kane. I posted a thread in the local riding forum a couple weeks ago, next time I'll let you know.

Not too many rocks, a lot of hill climbs, tight turns, ruts, and humps. It did pretty good, spent a lot of time in first and second gear. I'm kind of surprised how much low end it has, you can lug it down on a hill and it just chugs up it. But you got to watch out when it hits 6000 rpm, almost put her in the brush a couple times.
